1995年毕业于山东大学化学系；1998年在山东大学化学学院理论化学研究室获硕士学位；2003年在大连化学物理研究所获博士学位。2005年5月-2006年5月，台湾清华大学化工系博士后研究。2007年12月任副研究员，2008年9月起任复杂分子体系反应动力学研究组副组长，2014年7月任研究员。2008年获得中国科学院沈阳分院首届优秀青年学者奖。曾先后承担了国家自然科学基金项目、中国科学院“太阳能行动计划”项目（项目负责人）和国家重点基础研究发展规划（973）项目等科研项目。

　　主要研究方向为复杂分子体系的超快动力学，功能材料分子的光化学与光物理过程的动力学机理。包括：（1）利用飞秒时间分辨光谱技术研究复杂分子的内转换、溶剂化、振动弛豫、取向弛豫、能量转移和电荷转移等超快动力学过程。（2）利用时间分辨光谱结合理论化学计算，研究光开关分子、荧光材料等光化学体系的激发态动力学机理。（3）发展新的时间分辨光谱技术。（4）发展新的量子化学计算方法和软件，开展光化学体系非绝热过程的直接动力学模拟。在国内外学术刊物上发表SCI论文40多篇。
