Over the past decades, Prof. Li has accumulated rich experience and technological advantages in the field of aerospace monopropellant thruster performance test.He has successfully designed a professional test platform for aerospace catalytic decomposition technique to study the performance of catalysts in ground, high and low temperatures, high altitude simulation and other conditions. This provides important support for the development of aerospace catalytic technology in China. He also solved the key technical problems in the control test during the research of new-type gel propellant technology, catalytic decomposition technique of the key aircraft fuel, as well as the long-life catalyst for satellite, which ensured the success of the projects.
Prof. Li has also received several research awards, including the National Award of Technology Invention (second grade), Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (first grade, twice), Distinguished Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Key Technical Personnel prize .
