1989年复旦大学化学系毕业并获得学士学位，1992年中科院大连化物所获得硕士学位，1995年中科院大连化物所获得博士学位，并留所工作。1996-1998年，日本石油能源产业活性化中心邀请研究人员和日本东京工业大学博士后。1999-2000年，中科院大连化学物理研究所副研究员。2001年至2019年1月，中科院大连化学物理研究所固体氧化物燃料电池课题组组长，研究员，博士生导师。
