Prof. Weishen Yang works on the rational design and molecular-level engineering of functional nanomaterials for applications in catalysis and separation (e.g., inorganic membranes). He has published ~360 referred journal papers (SCI citations > 15,000), 4 book chapters, 2 books and 50 patents. (1) The 2nd prize in State Nature Science Award in 2015 on ”Synthesis of Inorganic Membranes for Molecular Scale Separation and their Application in Catalysis”.(2) The 1st prize in Guangdong Province Science and Technology Award in 2014 on “Fundamental Research on Separation and Reaction Based on Membrane and Adsorbent” (3)The 1st prize in Liaoning Province Nature Science Award in 2006 on “Inorganic Membrane and Membrane Catalysis”. 1.
