(1) vibrational spectroscopy of reactive molecules on powder catalysts under working conditions, and the surface electronic spectroscopy on energy materials using surface specific nonlinear spectroscopy;
(2) developing high-sensitivity ultrafast spectroscopy, including transient absorption spectroscopy, time-resolved stimulated Raman spectroscopy, time-resolved surface sum frequency spectroscopy, to study the dynamic process of photocatalysis, catalysis and carrier dynamics of energy materials;
(3) developing ultrafast time-resolved photoemission electron microscopy (TR-PEEM) to study the dynamics of photogenerated carriers in semiconductors, photocatalysis and other systems;
(4) developing ultrafast laser technology and ultrafast lasers.
